The construction of the cartridge allows water to pass through the entire length of the carbon bed, while an internal expansion pad minimizes channeling, or bypass, ensuring maximum contact with the filter medium. A built-in 20-micron post filter reduces the presence of carbon fines and other suspended particles in the filtered water.
