Like all Emeco seating, the Icon is handcrafted in a 77-step patented construction process that includes heat treatment and ...anodizing, rendering the chair diamond-hard and virtually indestructible. Its sleek, simple form is lightweight and available in a brushed or polished aluminum finish. Said Starck of the Icon: "My idea for the new Emeco chair was to design nothing, just transmit the phenomenon of Emeco. The new design is balanced, minimal, coherent - there is serenity."
