One downside is adjusting the shelves inside and on the door. It does not leave a lot flexibility. In certain locations you cannot shut the door because they hit each other. by t613, | Sun, Mar 9, 2014 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag Excellent product Great space . Adjustable shelves. Purchased the Maytag refrigerator because my other one went out. This particular refrigerator is the only refrigerator available with the amount of room and other features I wanted! by wvlady87, | Fri, Feb 28, 2014 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag Good refrigerator The appliance is great overall. The only complaint I have is that the print on the water dispenser button rubbed off in less than 2 months. Obviously I know which button is for ice and which is for water, but now only one button is labeled. Not a deal-breaker for this appliance, though. by Leah1, | Thu, Feb 27, 2014 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag Large capicity We have only owned this refrigerator for 3 months. Pros-Lots of room, led lighting is a nice feature, like that the ice machine and storage is in door (extra shelf for freezer). Cons-the writing on ice and water buttons came off after only about 1 month, doors are heavy, you need to make sure you push the door closed. There have been a few times where I have gone back into the kitchen and the door is still slightly open. by Cyclones, | Wed, Feb 26, 2014 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag 1 visitors found this helpfulGreat design, but has some quality issues This fridge works great, is roomy and well laid out. We LOVE the ice maker! The quality of the ice and the speed of the ice maker are excellent. The extra shelf allowed because of the in-door design is awesome, but the best feature to me is that it allows shorter perople to easily reach and remove the ice bin. Issues: 1) The cover on the butter tray broke in the first week and it does not appear on the list of items that can be purchased for this fridge; 2) The word "Ice" dissolved from the external button within a few weeks; 3) The stainless steel scratches easily and show smudges. Maytag should provide a sample stainless steel cleaner with this fridge. by FixeditRob, | Wed, Feb 26, 2014 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag Maytag built, what more can I say? Tier 3 energy star, roomy inside, like the ice maker in the door, free up space in the freezer, who uses the door shelves anyway? One thing I did not like, the lettering has worn off the ice and water buttons. Too bad they can't get made like on a PC keyboard, the lettering don't wear off. Even better, put the "ICE" and "Water" on the plastic strip that has the other writing on it, it won't wear off. by james27613, | Mon, Feb 10, 2014 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag Awesome LED lighting Maytag has made a great Refrigerator when they made this one. The glass top cooking area is very easy to use, offers many choices according to my pot size I am using. Cleans up beautifully. The oven is very large, love the easy view window and 3 rack options. The only thing I found to be NOT pleasing is the oven cleaning. I baked a pie, which went over and burned the bottom. Followed the cleaning instructions, but after 4 tries my oven now has a discolored and burned areas in the heating coil cover pan that does not come off. I mostly love this range oven. I only have two complaints. The first is that the storage drawer on the bottom is too small. I suppose this is to maximize the interior baking capacity. However, I am not someone who is constantly baking large amounts of food. So I would prefer a little less baking capacity for a little more storage capacity because I have a small kitchen. The second complaint is that the broiler feature in the oven cooks unevenly. By November 2013 had trouble with this oven not lighting. Gas fills oven, attempts to light, hear "click, click, click" and stops attempting to light. The oven waits about a minute then goes through the cycle again to light three times, then will shut off completely. There have been times where I think it is warming and go to put in dinner and the temp is still at 100 degrees. The entire house smells like gas. I've now had a repairman out here 6 times, replacing parts, hearing him argue on the phone with the main service people to have them replace the stove, but they will not do it. They keep sending a man here and replacing parts and I cannot trust it to light and fear of house smelling and filling with gas (esp. when I have 4 children). Should not be going through this for a brand new item and something this expensive. We purchased based on reviews and brand name, but unfortunately we did not get the product everyone else seems to be raving about. Look at other reviews there are some complaining about the very same problem we have experienced. Use caution if you are considering this product. The repair man stated he also had other clients who are having the same exact problem I am having so this is not an isolated incident! by cngwPittsburgh, PA | Tue, Apr 8, 2014 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag the may tag that just cooks it right Hey do you want to cook food fast and have it just tasty as can be, well get TAGED MAYTAGED cook your birds, turkeys, hams, and so on! I would recommend the dryer, but would advise consumers to purchase an extended warranty to cover the cost of repairs. I REALLY wish I would have!! by mommy, | Fri, Feb 21, 2014 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag I love my front load washer! I can't believe how lucky I am too have this washer! It does everything except unload and fold the clothes., which would make it the utmost perfect machine. Thank you Electrolux! by Devorah, | Thu, Feb 20, 2014 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag Love Our New Electrolux! Lets be honest, style is the first thing you notice about any appliance and this one's got that modern, sleek, sexy look! Also, my laundry room is located directly behind the master bedroom, so I noticed right away how quiet this machine sounds. It's so nice to be able to run the washer (and dryer) at night and not hear the spin cycle through the wall. Lastly, and best of all, with as many features as the competition, we got a real bargain on the Electrolux and I couldn't be happier with the results. by John, | Sat, Feb 8, 2014 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag Great washer and dryer Love my new set and wouldn't trade them for anything!!!! by Gina, | Thu, Jan 30, 2014 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag Love the product My washer is great. really had no issues with it and love it. all the features are amazing. by Eddie, | Wed, Jan 29, 2014 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag washer I was very excited to have my washer delivered! i loved the feature inside the drum every time you open the door (while in the store) it smelled fresh! and that all openings were just a push away. Well when my washer came it never smelled fresh when I opened it. A few days later a tech from hhgreg came out to switch my doors around on the washer and dryer and I asked him if water was supposed to sit in the lip of the door and that it smelled like old water after doing a load of laundry. He told me that was common and I should leave the door open after each load to let it dry. That didn't seem right to me and over the last few months I have asked everyone i know if there front loader does that and theirs doesn't. Also occasionally the dispenser where the laundry detergent and fabric softener go are completely filled with water., and the door sometimes leaks the water that is in the lip of the door. The only reason I would recommend this product at this point is because when I called Electrolux about the problems I am having they handled it very well. I am waiting on a replacement right now. If the new washer has the same problems then I will def switch brands. So I've got my fingers crossed that this was just as isolated problem. by Pink, | Mon, Dec 30, 2013 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag EIFLS60JELECTROLUX FRONT LOAD WASHER This washer is surprisingly quiet, washes clothes well, and is easy to operate. This product: Hotpoint 3.5 cu. ft. Top Load Washer - White $404.10 What a fiasco Bought this washer in Sep. 2013 while I was remodeling. I had to purchase this set due to size limitations. After the fifth time I used it the hot water valve would not shut off and it flooded my garage. Also what everyone else is saying about the short rinse is true. It is horrible. I would NOT recommend this washer to anyone, it's sad they sell such a flawed product. I don't mind that as much as the leaking and the lack of a gentle cycle. It leaks in the back and there's a stain on the floor now from it. I wash all my clothes on the same cycle because there's really only two. Cottons or regular. There's a "whites" cycle but it doesn't really do anything different. I can't wash anything delicate because there's no gentle cycle. Anything knitted I'm afraid it will destroy. So I have to take gentle stuff elsewhere. by cotton770West Jordan, UT | Sat, Dec 7, 2013 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag Good for the price. I love it... The machine sounds possessed and, contrary to the statement that it stays in place, it definitely doesn't. This baby walks all over the basement. It makes loud chirping noises as it's washing and when it goes into spin cycle, it sounds like the F-15 jets on the trim pad. Also, it "eats" clothes. Now, it makes these horrible noises no matter what is in the wash load so it isn't because I've put too much heavy clothing in it. No, it went ballistic when I was just washing my sons' socks. I hate it and I don't like to use it. I just purchased it last month and quite frankly, I'd rather take the clothes to the pond and beat them on rocks! Hate, hate, hate this machine. One of my sons who is a plumber said that it sounds like the machine has a bad berring. Well, I'm going to call a repair person to see what's up with this abomination and if that is how it is supposed to function and sound, I'll be junking it! by cooncatForestdale, MA | Thu, Sep 27, 2012 Was this helpful?YesNo read more

Top-Load Washer w/ Steam and Accela-Wash - White $899.99 9 visitors found this helpfulWould not recommend I have owned this machine for over a year and waited to write a review so that I could really test this machine. I purchased this to replace a smaller front loader machine. I live in a townhouse so this offered the largest capacity for the small space where this needed to fit. For capacity, this machine is great. I have no problems washing a queen comforter. I washed my parents king comforter though the comforter did not have much fill. Overall, I must agree with one customer who said that this was the worst machine that they have owned. It does not clean the clothes as I would expect. My whites never come out white. At times, it would seem like I never washed them. I use Tide pods along with the full amount of concentrated bleach, let them soak, and use the whitest whites setting but still you can see the stains. As an example, I was wearing a white t-shirt and spilled some Pepsi on it. I pre-treated it and washed it later that day. You can still see the stains of where the drink was spilled. Any other machine that I owned would have no problem removing those stains. The issue is not just with the white clothes. I had a red cotton shirt that had a mayo stain on it and after washing the stain from the grease of the mayo was still there. I would not recommend this product to a friend primarily because I do not believe that it does a good job of cleaning the clothes. I will not purchase this again. When I purchased this, the salesperson told me that it was manufactured by LG with the Kenmore name so the LG model may have the same issues that I am describing. by WadsworthWadsworth, IL | Fri, Mar 28, 2014 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag 8 visitors found this helpfulCouldn't have pick a better one! At least 75% of the loads get an unbalanced load error message - and that is not an exaggeration. The size of the load - small, medium, or large - makes no difference. Takes a long time to complete a wash cycle because of the unbalanced load error message. Wish I had returned it after I bought it. Would never recommend this washer to anyone. The new design is by far the quietest and most complete washer we've experienced. Plus, this washer has upgraded tub-spin control which keeps the entire wash and spin stable. I encourage shoppers to go to a Sears store and feel how much movement the tubs have inside the washer compared to this model. No question, a really well-built washer. And Sears has a 30 day return/refund policy, while its competitors only offer 48 to 72 hour returns. This washer absolutely does not get the clothes clean. It chooses the water level for you and the clothes wind up sticking out of the water. If they aren't under the water how are they getting clean? The towel the dog sleeps on comes out as dirty as when it went in. If you try adding extra soap it just leaves theI undissolved soap on the still dirty clothes. Yes I used HE compatible soap. I'm beyond disappointed. Please don't waste your money like I did. by Dispirited, | Fri, Apr 11, 2014 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag 1 visitors found this helpfulGIVE ME MY OLD AGITATOR/HEAT/LEVEL SELECTION!!! This is my 4rth HE washer, all from Sears since they're replacements thru my "protection plan" which, in reality simply locks me into another Sears washer. I'd be better off to go elsewhere and save myself another headache (literally). I wash lots of dirty cleaning rags, mop heads, etc. that require hot water and agitation. The only cycle that will supply hot water is the "whites" cycle, and it fill sit huge tub to the top (energy efficiency for sure) with hot water and agitates VERY LITTLE. I find no cycle with the exception of heavy duty that will agitate much at all, but won't use hot water. I've turned off the cold altogether to try to 'trick" it, but it just sits and spins giving the "IE" error code~~too little water. The rags got more dingy week after week, until I finally figured out that no matter that I've asked for hot seater, the water is luke warm at best with the exception of the on cycle, and I have no control of how much water it pours in. So far, I've gone thru an LG that was out of balance more than not, a Whirlpool that rusted out completely before it's first year was up (seems it doesn't like bleach and the "protection plan" doesn't cover rust. Go figure. More than once in just over a month I've had to turn off the power to reboot the computer on this one, and I've spent so many hours watching it/feeling the temp that I'm developing chronic neck pain! It has given new meaning to "a pain in the neck"!! I had to buy a second washer as a "stand by" because of repeated service calls that each take over a week to manifest, and it is an old Whirlpool with an agitator/ temp/water level selection and it much more reliable than this new bells and whistle thing. To say I'm disappointed just doesn't cover it. I hate it so much, but have no options but to keep it till it qualifies to be replaced, and the qualifications seem to be becoming more stringent alas time passes. No wonder. If you're considering this washer, take my words to heart unless you really don't care if it gets things clean. Recommend to a friend~~not even to Vlad Putin. by gaildeeClarksville, IN | Fri, Apr 4, 2014 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag 0 visitors found this helpfulNot so happy Purchased this washer two days ago and had it delivered for "free" today 3/18/14.
