Cuisinart Coffee Grinders

If you prefer the taste of freshly ground coffee, you need a coffee grinder. This simple tool contains a burr or a blade that quickly turns coffee beans into grounds. Blade grinders are the least expensive but don't always deliver a consistent grind. Burr grinders grind evenly but can be more difficult to clean and cost more than blade models.

The Cuisinart 8-oz. Supreme Grind Automatic Burr Coffee Grinder delivers perfectly ground coffee each and every time. Like all bur...r grinders, the Cuisinart crushes your coffee beans to get the ground coffee you can use in your coffeemaker. Unlike blade grinders, burr grinders preserve coffee's natural oils that make it smell and taste amazing. The Cuisinart burr coffee grinder provides 18 different settings, ranging from ultra fine to extra coarse, so you can get the grind that works best for your type of coffee beans and your coffeemaker. Thanks to the automatic timer, the grinder will automatically shut off when it's done, and the grounds will be uniform in size. The bean hopper stores 8 ounces of beans, so you don't have to refill the grinder every time you want to brew coffee. Just before making your cup of coffee, grind your beans. You can grind between 4 and 18 cups' worth of beans at a time. For best results, grind your coffee immediately before brewing. You'll get to enjoy the natural flavors of your coffee, before the delicate oils break down. This coffee grinder comes with a cleaning brush, so you can easily clean the grounds out of the chamber. Features: Burr grinding protects the natural oils of your coffee Choose from 18 different grinds, from ultra fine to extra coarse Grind enough coffee for between 4 and 18 cups at a time Comes with an 8-ounce hopper to store your beans The timer will automatically shut off the grinder when the cycle is complete Integrated cord storage keeps the cord from getting tangled read more

Reliable, simple I would recommend this product to a friend. by JacobBurrittEnglewood, FL | Thu, May 16, 2013 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag 6 visitors found this helpfulMotor burned out in just 4 days I bought the Cuisinart coffee grinder when my Krups finally gave out after many years of daily use. The Cuisinart has a curved shape on the side which looks good on the counter top, but makes it difficult to grab to pour the grinds into the coffee maker. Although it says it is large capacity, the motor runs but grinder doesn't grind the beans when the cup is filled to capacity. So, I had to grind 3-4 smaller batches of coffee beans. The grinder is quiet when using small batches - that's a plus. But, the cup is also messy and spills the grinds all over the counter when you lift the lid. Just four days after using it, the motor gave out. I don't recommend this product at all. I plan to get another Krups or a burr mill this time. by RLinSLSan Leandro, CA | Tue, Oct 18, 2011 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag read more

This machine helps me do that. It is attractive and importantly it fits under my kitchen cabinets, which are almost too low. It is easy to adjust the grind, and set the amount needed. Now I'm not enough of a connisour to worry too much about the correct grind and amount to put in the coffee maker, but this coffee grinder helps sort all that out. It comes with a hopper that holds just the right amount of beans for me to use without them getting too old or stale. Not that I would notice, but my guests might. I had a blade type "grinder" before, but while chopping some spices it went belly up, all kinds of things broke. Maybe I should only have put coffee beans in it? This machine is a dedicated single task grinder, and thats what I need. A reliable machine. The only drawback that I have noticed is that mine has a hair trigger, and just moving the machine to clean the counter I will sometimes brush the button and off it goes. This is mostly my problem so no stars off for that. Other machines may not be that sensitive. I may not use it as much as some of the other reviewers, so I can't speak to the burr replacement issue. Mine still works the way it should. I would recommend this product to a friend. by ReedCottonBonny Doon, CA | Tue, Feb 28, 2012 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag 1 visitors found this helpfulThe cuisinart burr mill coffee grinder gives customers variety My cuisinart burr mill coffee grinder is great because if you want french pressed coffee you have the option of corse grind or if you want espresso you simply change the dial and you have fine ground coffee. Simple consept but it works perfectly and you have fresh ground beans for each batch of coffee you make. Also its small and attractive enough that you wont mind it on your counter top. I would recommend this product to a friend. by mrskatherinefreedScarborough, ME | Thu, Jul 21, 2011 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag 6 visitors found this helpfulBest one I ever had This is the best coffee grinder I ever had. I love how easy it is to change the settings from fine grind to course grind. I also love the quantity of beans you can place in the top housing compartment, when needed it will hold enough to make a couple of pots of coffee. I find this grinder easy to clean. I have read from other reviews that it is loud when grinding, but my opinion...it is a grinder what do you expect. I bought mine on black Friday for 24.00, I don't know if I would pay full price though, it is a bit pricey. I would recommend this product to a friend. by Pamiam04468Xenia, OH | Sun, Mar 20, 2011 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag 5 visitors found this helpful** CAN'T BUY REPLACEMENT BURRS ** We got our DBM-8 5 years ago as a wedding present and it's worked great except, the BURRS ARE WORN OUT and I called Cuisinart about where to get new burrs (Mazzer, Racillo, Fiorenzata and almost any other company sells replacement burrs) but Cuisinart refuses to sell them and "trade secrets" and warranty voiding were the reasons given to me for why I couldn't buy them. I explained to the guy that Bosch sells skill saws that last for 20 years, but the key is that you can get NEW BLADES FOR THEM... no one's using the same skill saw blade that came with the saw after 5 years of woodworking.
