Johnston Country Hams
Johnston County Hams was founded in 1946 by Richard Emerson in Smithfield, North Carolina. Curemaster's Reserve Mangalitsa hams are available in weights of 8-13 pounds and come sliced or unsliced. Country hams are traditionally cured for three to six months to get a pleasant flavor. Johnston County Hams prosciutto comes sliced in sets of four or eight 8-ounce packs, or it's available as whole boneless prosciutto ham. Smokehouse meats available from Johnston County Hams include whole smoked turkey, Mangalitsa bacon, dry-cured bacon, country sausage, smoked turkey breast, or a sampler pack. The Smokehouse Sampler includes two 8-ounce packs of sliced country bacon, two 8-ounce packs of cooked ham slices, and two 1-pound packs of ham center slices.
