They had asked to use mine for their wedding so I bought them one instead. Although they didn't use it for the wedding because one batch is so small, she still loves using it at home. The groom posted on fb just the other week how he had to peel his wife off the ceiling because she had too much cotton candy. My machine doesn't have the option to use hard candy and that is what I like most about this machine. by christyshLa Vista, NE | Sun, Feb 26, 2012 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag read more

This product: Nostalgia Electrics Retro Series Hard and Sugar-Free Cotton Candy Maker $33.25 12 visitors found this helpful cotton candy review i bought one and have tested it it does work great if you use hard candy only. if you use ready made cotton candy sugar it will clog up the system. and cause the spinner head to go out of balance and to walk up the shaft. if you use cotton candy sugar the spinner head will walk up the shaft and had the potential to fly off the shaft. when testing with Cotton candy sugar we had to keep shutting it down to cool then manually push the spinner head back down were it belongs. would i recommend one,yes only for use with hard candy. do not use cotton candy sugar in this machine. only use hard candy. we found 4 pieces of hard candy places around the spinner worked great. cleaning the spinner head is as easy as soaking in warm water. The Great Northern Cotton Candy Machine Makes Sweetness Appear Out of Thin Air Put a smile to any child?s face and bring out the c...hild in adults with the soft sweetness of cotton candy. This commercial quality Vortex cotton candy floss... 2 visitors found this helpfulGood but not great I purchased this unit to have for personal use at my kids functions. It works really well when used with commercial floss/sugar. www.detroitpopcorn.com , my disappointment is that no matter how long you pre-start the machine, it wastes a lot of sugar. Also you need to purchase the extra doom top. It is a must so ad that to your total purchase price. (it should be included) A couple other notes, not an indoor machine for homes. My basement is foggy from one use. Overall - for the price, a good machine for much less than a commercial one. I just wish it did not waste as much floss when making the CC. by Wanderer76Livonia, MI | Wed, Mar 28, 2012 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag 1 visitors found this helpfulEasy, fast and fun cotton candy machine! This machine is very easy to put together (put the top bowl on top of the base and flip close 4 clips). Turn on the spinning motor and the "controller" (heater) and wait 4 mins. After the 4 min warm-up period pour sugar in and 30 secs later you'll have your first cone! Pour in more sugar and then in another 30 secs you have your 2nd! Keep this going until everyone had seconds and thirds! Making cones is fast and easy! Surprisingly even cleaning up is easy. With a dry paper towel wipe out excess sugar. Then with a moist paper towel wipe things down and then dry off. I use this outside as a bit (1%) of "cotton" goes flying but it's not very bad so if there was a party I would consider running this in my kitchen or garage... I'm using flossine mixed with regular white sugar to make yummy cones. I do however have some sugar granules shoot to the outside of the big bowl and collect there vs turning into "cotton" candy. Not a big deal, but I wish it all went into cotton candy! Hint: Flossine is ~ $6 for a 1lb container. It takes 2tablespoons mixed with 10lbs of regular sugar to make flabored cotton candy. It's the cheapest/easiest way to go! I'm using ~ 1tsp per pound and that's plenty of flavor. I would recommend this product to a friend. by szutWilmington, MA | Fri, Jul 22, 2011 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag 2 visitors found this helpfulNot worth the money Did not work very well. Most of the sugar that is added to the center spinner is shot out whole and builds up on the side. This was using floss sugar from Sam's. I expected it to be much better and efficient. Returned after a few attempts. Bought a cheap $40 one that worked just as well. by fitzge43Round Lake, IL | Tue, Jul 5, 2011 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag read more

Click here to see what your monthly payment would be with your Sears card. Added on May 13, 2010 This product: Olde Thompson Pepper Supreme $9.89 Verified PurchaseBest tasting pepper on the market! I do not know if this is something Olde Thompson makes themselves or gets from an outside local vendor or what...but either way my God this stuff is FANTASTIC! I've purchased various mixes from various makers over the years and had some good pepper...but this stuff is my favorite by a landslide and I will be buying this from here on. I like pepper a lot. To me, it completes a meal. Health-wise, it's a lot better for you than most seasonings, and it can replace the less healthy seasonings. I like salt a lot too...now I use more pepper than salt and I think food tastes as good or better than before! Black peppercorn is great...but the other types of peppercorn in this stuff add a much more complex flavor, and a very interesting hint of spice. It isn't overpowering by any means, but it noticeable and very enjoyable as the flavor has the black pepper note, but with also light flavoring notes that are a little different. Especially on more bland food like scrambled eggs, the mix here is really going to shine. We tend to like spices because they make food taste better. When seasoned correctly, the right spices not only add to the flavor, but they bring out the good flavors in food. Much like a good extra virgin olive oil, this pepper does the same. A good piece of meat with olive or pecan oil, a small amount of salt, this pepper, perhaps a little paprika, and a tiny bit of fresh parsley/basil/garlic and you have a combination that results in a very 'pure' piece of meat that keeps its classic flavoring but with additional flavor notes...with steak it is amazing how much the steak flavor is amplified. With chicken and turkey, the end flavor is more complex, and the meat just more enjoyable to eat. If you make your own hummus, a tiny bit of this pepper and the hummus flavor is more bold. And for salads...this is the silver bullet. Salads are healthy but often just lack something. Grind some of this in a coarser size and oil/oil and vinegar/oil and wine dressings become so much more flavorful. Add some honey roasted sunflower kernels and craisens and salads ain't too shabby! The only thing I would advise is using your peppercorn grinder to grind this around the time of consumption rather than grinding a lot and storing it, and something like the iTochless that allows you to adjust how fine-coarse the peppercorn is ground into. The reason is that I think freshly ground pepper has a noticeably better and more pronounced taste than something ground a while back. Also, certain foods taste better with coarse and others fine ground pepper. I tend to like more coarse ground as I think the flavor has a slower onset with a lesser intensity but lasts longer...but that's just me. With that said, most people I know who try this stuff do develop a preference for a certain degree of fine/coarse, so grinding it when you eat allows you to ensure it is fresh and in the form you want it to. I I would recommend this product to a friend. by rwharoldReston, VA | Fri, Apr 11, 2014 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag 1 visitors found this helpfulThe aroma! I thought I would return it at first, simply because the idea of having a pepper bottle of $6 worth unnerves me. But thanks for my laziness, I decided to keep it. The aroma is lovely; I've been using it on my steak and pork and egg at every chance and I couldn't be any happier with the purchase. I would recommend this product to a friend. by anhnguyenberkeleyBerkeley, CA | Fri, Dec 14, 2012 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag read more
