Meet all your cooking needs with the 30-inch electric cooktop with dishwasher-safe knobs. Two 8-inch and two 6-inch coil elements ...offer the heat you need to quickly boil, fry or sear your favorite dishes. Use the infinite heat controls to select a heat output ranging from low to high for more convenience... 2 visitors found this helpfulNeat, very easy to clean, cooks well. My favorite features of this stove are the black color and the ease of cleaning. The outer edges are smooth and go straight down to the counter without a dirt-catching metal band like my old one had. Also, the coils and drip pans pop in and out easily for cleaning. My only minor concerns are that one of the eyes sits one or two degrees off horizontal (so I never do omelettes on that eye) and the black does show smudge marks easily. However, the smudge marks are wiped off fairly easily with a dry microfiber cloth. We bought this dish washer last year. We've owned six washers in the many houses we've lived in during the past 45 years (so we've obviously had a lot of practice with operating dish washers) but this washer is absolutely the worst! It cleans okay, but it's noisy, takes four hours to do a complete cycle and it doesn't dry the dishes; we have to leave the door open to let it air dry for another two or three hours or dry the dishes ourselves. We called for service and even though we have an extended warranty, we were given such guff by the customer service rep (who obviously didn't want to send out a serviceman) that our good opinion of Kenmore products has gone down the chute. Wish we'd returned it when we had the chance and bought something else. We'll be a lot more hesitant about buying Sears appliances in the future--especially when we have to go through a song and dance to get them repaired UNDER WARRANTY! Bosch

Bosch dishwasher SGE63E06UC is ADA compliant and includes water softener filter to extend the life of the product. Energy and wate...r efficiency exceed the 2011 ENERGY STARŽ requirements. Save time every time with 6 wash cycles... 6 visitors found this helpfulFrustrating piece of junk Avoid Bosch. They aren't built like they used to be. Just beyond the 1 year warranty period we began getting an E24 error code. That means the water wasn't draining or at least the dishwasher thought it wasn't. One year, two repair visits and a third estimate later the dishwasher still doesn't work very often and no one seems to have a clear solution to the problem. We're $200 poorer and have decided to replace it with anything other than a Bosch before throwing anymore money at this piece of junk. Bosch's reputation is sliding fast as they've turned to low quality parts to increase their profits. Will never buy another Bosch product again! by surlyprofFremont, CA | Fri, Aug 2, 2013 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag 2 visitors found this helpfulQuiet , Rotten lower rack Wife curses everytime she loads the dishes. The lower rack does not slide into dishwasher correctly. My guess is that it needs 2-4 more rollers. Penny-wise on Bosch's part. We'll rejoin the Whirlpool family after this unit. by schmeroldChesterfield, MO | Sat, Feb 16, 2013 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag 6 visitors found this helpfulGet past your desire to be environmentally friendly! JUNK! I bought this unit thinking I was buying not only one of the best dishwashers on the market but also the most environmentally friendly and a good brand. It's true the unit didn't 'dry' the dishes but I can live with that. My problem was it quit working entirely after 6 months. The electronic menu board gave an error message. My household consists of two working adults. The dishwasher is not used regularly. My 'top of the line' dishwasher has been down about two months and still no fix. The Sear's repair person come out 3 times and still has to make another trip to see if he can get it operational. I'm very disappointed in Bosch and Sears. The unit is still under warranty but I've had to take off from work for the repairs. After one more trip from Sear's repair, the lemon law will go into effect. Save yourself money, time, and aggravation and select another model. I'm extremely frustrated with my purchase. by plinkFort Valley, GA | Wed, Aug 17, 2011 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag 8 visitors found this helpfulSmelly and badly designed, never again a Bosch dishwasher In the past 17 months, I have spent far too much time on my hands and knees, using a turkey baster and/or a ladle to remove the dirty, smelly water that collects in the bottom of this overpriced and underperforming machine. (The mechanism that is supposed to drain this water doesn't do the job.) The dishwasher often gives off a sickly smell of decaying food, like the dumpster behind a restaurant. The filters need to be cleaned constantly, an unpleasant and time-consuming process, since they acquire a sticky, gummy surface residue. It is all more effort than it is worth. After little more than a year of use, we will probably cart this machine to the dump and buy a new one. It won't be a Bosch. by FulvousSeattle, WA | Sat, Jul 30, 2011 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag 6 visitors found this helpfulDO NOT BUY THIS! Dishes wet, horrible smell, bad interior design Please let me warn you against this dishwasher. It has NO drying feature! Apparently the dishes are supposed to dry by evaporation but they don't and the interior walls of the dishwasher never EVER dry. They remain wet ALL the time which, of course, produces a horrible smell. I called Bosch and they told me their dishwasher have no drying element because it uses too much energy. That would be great if they had an alternative other than wet dishes and mildew! Whoever designed the interior has clearly never loaded a dishwasher. The tines are so cl read more

The tub seems to be built lower to give more space to the upper rack. I use a lot of insulated mugs and they fit on the top rack for the first time. All my plastic ware stays in place and doesn't get upended and filled with dirty water on the upper rack. The filter is located near the front for easy reach. Despite 2-hour wash cycles, it is energy and water efficient. However, the door is so tight, my husband who is disabled can't open it. The silverware rack comes with some kind of utensil separator, which is difficult to load and unload because you have to touch the eating surface to unload it. Only my spoons and forks fit anyway. I no longer use it. The spray nozzles don't hit the long, tall cooking spoons because they are blocked by the other plates and bowls, so little spray gets on them to clean them. Because it is so water efficient, I don't know if any hot water is used in the wash cycle. When I use the Smart Wash and Normal wash cycles my glasses have a wonderful mist on them (even with heated dry setting), so I have to towel dry everything on the top rack especially if it is glass. These two cycles can take up to 2 hours to clean your dishes. Unfortunately I only use it every other day or so, it took me a while to try out the different cycles and with food sitting there, that could contribute to the dishes not getting completely clean. But even "fresh" dirty dishes don't always get clean. Now that I have given it this test-"wash", the return period is long gone and I am now stuck with a dishwasher that I will have to maybe half-load to start washing everyday to maybe get my dishes cleaner. Next time I will look at reviews BEFORE going to the store so I will have a better idea what to look at and make a better decision. by Sugarmama787Plant City, FL | Tue, May 6, 2014 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag Verified PurchaseBeautiful and Works nicely This is a beautiful dishwasher and it really works very well. This is a feature that I have to use every time I run a load of dishes (daily), so I find it very frustrating. This is an unacceptable product issue! Be sure to check it out before you buy. by pat6062, | Tue, Apr 22, 2014 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag 5 visitors found this helpfulIt washes well but a little more money gets better ... We fully remodeled our kitchen recently and therefore let go of our white appliances to get stainless steel ones. This dishwasher cleans ok, is fairly quiet, but does not dry well at all. The dishwasher we let go of was an entry level German one we bought in 2007 for $550 in white (we bought a house and the dishwasher included died), and had a stainless tub, nylon adjustable racks with folding tines and good geometries, had a time left display (that is very useful), better insulation (rubber matting), better door gaskets, and cleaned and dried the dishes very well - it was very robust. I would not consider this Kenmore model at $700, but $500 may be ok, $400 may be more like it - it is an entry level dishwasher, but better than the cheaper ones. I cannot compare to the better more expensive Kenmore models but I recommend spending a bit more for something a lot better. by azidesKingston, TN | Tue, Apr 15, 2014 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag 2 visitors found this helpfulVerified Purchasebest ever so quiet!! The features are great, however I really dislike a few things: First, the design of the rolling lower basket. The basket miss-aligns and falls off track if you do not really pay attention to how you push the rack back into the unit. When this happens, all the dishes crash together causing an opportunity for damage. It is also very difficult to get the rack back on track if the rack (cart) falls while fully loaded with dishes. Secondly; this unit never fully rinses well. Many times I end up hand washing the dishes. I have tried most all detergents and rinse products on the market. And, the third issue is the spacing in the racks do not align well for many of my plates and bowls. Else, the product looks great and is real quiet. I just find it lacks that ability to wash well. I would not recommend this model to others. by Anonymous, | Sun, Jan 26, 2014 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag This is a very good dishwasher. This is a very good dishwasher. Sometimes the dishes do not clean fully and a redo is necessary the reason for 4 stars. That is the disappointing thing. We picked it because it wasn't too tall, would fit in our opening and is white. The best part about this is how quiet it is and the water efficiency. The cycle (I add the 10 minute sanitizing because of our hard water) seems long 2 ˝ hours. It cleaned the dishes well, and there were no problems at all. But during this past year, it has broken down on us 3 times now, and we always have to wait for a week before the repair man can get out here to fix it for us. We have a large family and school our children online, so a lot of our time is devoted to that. Having to school my kids 4+ hours, take care of the little one, plus stand there at the kitchen sink and do dishes for a family of 5 is unacceptable to me. This product: Whirlpool 24" Built-In Dishwasher, Black - Black $404.1 5 visitors found this helpfulCleans well, dries poorly Over the last 30 years, I've owned two Whirlpool dishwashers and was very pleased with them, so when I needed a new one, I automatically selected another Whirlpool. The AnyWhere flatware basket was a big selling feature for me, along with the color, price, and exterior design. This unit cleans dishes, and pots and pans very well, the exterior design is really nice looking, and it's much quieter than the one it replaced. However, the flatware will not dry, no matter what cycle or drying option I select. Even with a full reservoir of rinse aid (which I've never needed before), I have to dry each utensil by hand when I unload it. I also agree with others' comments about the poor design of the basket. In addition, I can't place long utensils like serving spoons in front of the detergent reservoir because they block its snap-down door. Now the gasket around the opening to the rinse aid reservoir is coming out. Also, two pieces of rubber have fallen out of the door hinge area, and the door falls open unless it's shut. I understand that I can fix that problem by tightening the door springs, but that means sliding the unit out from under the counter. I'm very reluctant to do this because, as someone else mentioned, the drain hose is just barely long enough. The dishwasher is now 13 months old. by morgan15, | Mon, Feb 17, 2014 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag 1 visitors found this helpfulvery nice value this dishwasher is stylish, sleek, and very modern looking. the value was amazing, and it ties right in with my other stainless steel appliances. my last dishwasher was a very, very expensive one, but this one works just as well, with all the same features. i am very pleased with my decision to purchase this one. thank you whirlpool! by mona58, | Wed, Jan 22, 2014 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag Very Quiet There have been some changes since I last bought a dishwasher 20 yrs. ago--most of them for the better. Because I only run it once a week, I prewash all my dishes. Except for the glasses, it seems to get everything clean. It had most of the features I wanted, was not too expensive, had good reviews, and best of all, matched my black-appliance kitchen. Unfortunately, none of the descriptions or pictures of the unit included the fact that it has a large "Made in America" sticker on the front, as large as the Whirlpool logo and crookedly slapped on, THAT IS NOT REMOVABLE. This sticker is multicolored and destroys the look of the unit. I assumed the sticker would be easily peeled off and so let the unit be installed. I was wrong - it cannot be removed without damaging the surface of the door. This on a "designer" dishwasher?? I'm all in favor of products made in America, and I understand Whirlpool wanting to highlight that fact, but why am I forced to have this ugly sticker part of my kitchen decor?? I started out loving it, now I hate the way it looks. by Jay1924, | Sat, Apr 12, 2014 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag 1 visitors found this helpfulOutstanding This machine is by far the quietest dishwasher we have ever owned. A great recommendation by our sales person. by dandy38, | Thu, Apr 10, 2014 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag Is it on??? We recently purchased and installed a Whirlpool dishwasher. Not only does this dishwasher conserve on water, using only a minimum of water to do a great cleaning, but it is soooo quiet that we have to put our ear toward the appliance to check that it is really on!! Love this dishwasher!!! by Kaelekulin2, | Wed, Apr 9, 2014 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag This dishwasher is good This dishwasher is very quiet when it is on that you don't even know it is running. It has lots of room on the top rack to hold all of your cups and glasses and some small bowls. The bottom rack however is a little limited. Tho it has adjustable tines and brags about being able to adjust the width from left to right to fit different sizes, it inhibits the proper aligning of your dishes. Also, having the utensil basket on the door is a great thing for freeing up more room in the lower rack, but for some reason if you over load the utensil rack in anyway, the silverware doesn't always come clean. by mommy1157, | Sun, Apr 6, 2014 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag Super quiet, less impressive silverware tray Overall I think this is a very good dishwasher. I installed it myself and it was pretty easy as I was replacing an existing one that died. It holds more dishes than our last one, mainly due to the different configurations that the trays can be put into. The only real complaint that I have I'd the silverware tray. I thought that I would really like the fact that it is on the door and doesn't take up space inside, however where it sits in relation to the rinse aid fill and soap container makes half of it only useable for pretty short items. Also, the openings to hold the silverware apart to keep the from "spooning" work great for forks and spoons, but our knives will only fit in the six largest slots and won't fit at all in the side under the soap container. But outside of that it has been very good and the other features in combination of how whisper quiet it is, far outweighs the few drawbacks. by ChadB, | Sat, Mar 29, 2014 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag Great dishwasher This W read more

We are trying to stay on a budget, so this, basically, was the most affordable stainless dishwasher we could find. It's not rated as one of the quietest dishwashers you can buy, but we really haven't noticed the noise being an issue. That may be different for some others. We haven't run it a whole lot, but at this point we're partially pleased with the cleaning quality. We've had some issues with dirtier dishes and some utensils not getting completely clean. Had it delivered and had some friends over to help with the install. First off, everything is inside the machine for shipping, and it is not readily apparent how to open it. I pulled on it but it did not open; eventually I removed what appeared to be a small clip on the top that was inserted into the door. Luckily I didn't throw it away, because that is in fact the latch. There is no lever like my old one to lock the door, you just close it and latches automatically. There should definitely be some kind of sticker on that to guide you. We had no other major surprises during the install. Note that this does not come with everything you need. I would suggest getting the install kit, but you may also need various small items like hose clamps (depending on your drain situation) and components for hooking up the electric. All that said, once installed, this dishwasher works very well. The adjustable top rack is a nice feature, but even better is the top rack only wash feature. The other good feature is having the silverware holder on the door instead of the bottom, this adds a significant amount of space for larger items on the bottom rack. My only other quibble is that the directions seem to be for all Whirlpool dishwashers. They are not specific to the model. This seems like a generally bad idea to me. I installed it myself, and because of this, I was able to see how much thought and quality Samsung put into this dishwasher. For example, you can adjust the rear legs with a screw placed in the front of the dishwasher. The adjustable top rack is a great feature. The lower rack still fits standard sized dinner plates when the upper rack is in the lowest position. The rack design is where this dishwasher really excels. We are able to store TWO Christmas dinner's for 5, along with all the snack and drink glassed that were consumed and still had room for more. I estimate that this unit holds more than two times what the old dishwasher held and still washes better. My one complaint would be how wet the dishes were after the wash cycle. Inside, a Pow...erScrub wash system gets up to 12 place settings thoroughly clean and table ready. Food particles are captured by a two-stage filtration system and then... Not enough options. I am happy with my portable dishwasher. I recently moved and there was no dishwasher in my new home and I did not want to lose the cabinet space to have one installed. So my new portable dishwasher is the solution! Love it. by Primrose22, | Wed, May 28, 2014 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag Not five star I bought this model because we needed a portable due to space issues and because I was happy with the last two we've owned. However, I was disappointed in the construction of this new dishwasher. It is very cheaply made. Some of the edges are sharp and could, potentially, cause injury. Also, the hose attachment does not store flush to the back. As a result, the unit does not push flat against the wall. Without some sort of "stop", I have gouges in the drywall. Maybe it would be better to return to the old design. by Connie85, | Thu, May 22, 2014 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag great all around use for a dishwasher i am glad i bought this model. i had a maytag that worked for 25 years but didnot buy one because of whirlpool buying them. i searched different brands and decided on ge. by hsena, | Wed, May 21, 2014 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag Great Purchase Very happy with this product! Bring on the dinner guests. The LG LDS5040ST dishwasher loves company, and lots of it. The spacious, stainless-steel interior feat...ures a flexible racking system that holds up to 14 place settings. Adjustable tines and a unique utensil basket let you make easy... View information provided by the manufacturer 3 visitors found this helpfulLove this Dishwasher We have had this machine for about two months and are very satisfied in every way. The racking system is a great feature that allows you to custom fit the drawers to fit the size of the pieces to be washed by moving the rows of supports up or down as needed. The most noticeable feature is how QUIET it is. You have to be standing next to it to hear any noise at all which is a very low hum. I highly recommend this product. by honeydobee, | Thu, May 15, 2014 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag 1 visitors found this helpfulMy wife loves it. We moved in and she hated the old machine. I spend more time organizing vessels due to way the racks are laid out. My previous dishwasher 6+ year old handled it better. Also, the wash cycle time is really long. At the end of cycle all utensils are dry. Over by S4family, | Tue, Jan 21, 2014 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag Extremely Quiet! This DW is extremely quiet. It washes dishes quite well, BUT, you MUST use the Rinse Aid to get dry dishes. Without the Rinse Aid, dishes are wet at the end of the cycle. Also, the lower rack easily comes off the track so slide it SLOWLY in and out of the DW. The upper rack has a nice lowering feature; easy to use. The wash times are LONG, so best to set it at night when you retire for the evening. We replaced a Kennmore, which we had for 13 years. The LG DW is so much quieter, huge difference. The lower rack on the Kennmore stayed on its track better than the LG. All in all, so far we are pleased with the LG DW. REMEMBER: For truly dry dishes, use a Rinse Aid. by Bongobreath, | Sat, Jan 18, 2014 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag Great Features Love how quiet this dishwasher is. But there are 3 features that disappoint me. There is no light or signal that stays on when is finished running so you know that it's done. And the closure clip (where the door hooks into the unit when it closes) seems to be made of fairly cheap plastic, not metal, so I expect that to break and I feel like I have to be extra careful when I close it. It does take over 2 hrs to run on a normal wash cycle which seems like a long time to me. by khmj, | Tue, Dec 24, 2013 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag 1 visitors found this helpfulIt's a GREAT dishwasher. It's so quiet that you hardly know it's running. The stainless steel probably helps it to run quietly. And the dishes are sparkling when the cycle is over. About the only thing I would change would be to add a light to the washer detergent area so you can see the fill level. We're so glad we bought LG. by Andy, | Wed, Nov 27, 2013 Was this helpful?YesNo 0 comments | flag 2 visitors found this helpfulGreat product, REALLY quirt! It's configured differently than a normal dishwasher. The top rack is flat in the back where it goes under the sink but it's fine for large utensils or shallow containers. My only complaints would be that you must use the compatable stainless steel sink that is sold with this dishwasher. The sink is not as deep as a typical sink but I've had no problems with it.
