Founded in 1996, GearWrench of Sparks, Maryland, offers hand tools, including wrenches, sockets, ratchet wrenches and ratchet sets, torque wrenches, specialty tools, nut drivers, screwdrivers, and accessories. 

GearWrench launched its patented 5-degree ratcheting mechanism in 2006 and extended its name to new products including X-Beam, a wrench designed to better fit the hand; Double-X pliers, designed with a compound joint for opening jaws wider in tight locations; and Electronic Torque Wrench, that helps technicians measure peak and breakaway torque during engine repair.

Pieces in the GearWrench 16-Piece Metric Reversible Combination Ratcheting Wrench Set feature the ability to reverse using a reversing lever. The wrenches in the set provide knuckle clearance when operating with a 15-degree offset and only need 5 degrees of movement to move a fastener.
