A double-flowered blush pink with bright yellow stamens that is free flowering and sweetly fragrant and reblooms persistently deep... into fall. Also disease resistant, especially to black spot, the bane of many Roses here. A great Rose in every respect. Own-root.Roses offer colors, perfumes, forms, and habits to suit every garden situation. The tenacious efforts of breeders have yielded Roses with the best attributes of different varieties in new forms. Hybrid Teas, lovely as ever, now combine long bloom periods with the vigor to shrug off pests. Shrub Roses bloom for months, rather than weeks, in addition to their ever-appealing hardiness and longevity. A new group is so exceptionally long-blooming and carefree that they are simply called "Landscape Roses." In short, these are not your grandmothers, or even your mothers, finicky Roses. Simply choose according to your circumstances. Roses require six or more hours of direct sun per day and a fertile, reasonably moist soil.Tip: We use {item_link sku="58793" text="Organic Gem"} as a foliar feed on Rose bushes in our trial garden and find plants are healthier and perform better throughout the season.Hardiness Zone:5,6,7,8,8S,8W,9,9W,10,10W Blooms In:August July June September Spacing:10-12' Height:12-15' Ships as:ONE GALLON POT read more

This Climbing Hydrangea is a vigorous deciduous vine from Japan and Korea whose heart-shaped foliage and large white clusters of J...une flowers make it an attractive covering for a wall, fence, or large tree. In sun or shade (afternoon shade is required in the Deep South and in western Zones 9 and 10) and in moist but well-drained soil, it will eventually grow to 40′ or more (it’s a bit slow starting). Plants have lateral branches that grow out as much as 3′ from the supporting structure, giving a rich, deep texture that is quite unlike that of other vines. The dried flower heads and reddish brown, peeling bark are attractive in winter. Produces aerial roots that cling to its support. Not well adapted to the dry heat of desert regions. Blooms on old wood. Hydrangea is a valuable genus of some 100 species of shrubs and vines grown for their large and very showy flower heads. Hydrangeas are at their best in summer and fall—a quiet time for most woody plants—and are worth having for that reason alone. By pairing vines, stunning aerial liaisons can be arranged. We especially like deep purple Clematis 'Etoile Violette' with the blu...sh pink, double-flowered Climbing Rose 'New Dawn.' The Clematis clambers up the Rose's thorny canes and obligingly places its flowers next to those of its host. When the two are at their peak in early July, the display is pure magic, and both can be counted on for repeat bloom through summer. 'New Dawn' is sweetly fragrant and disease-resistant, especially to black spot, the bane of many Roses. We offer one each of the Clematis and Rose. Bring on the hummingbirds! 'Major Wheeler' produces a blanket of tubular, reddish orange flowers (coral shades on the West Coast) ...from late spring through summer. Later, the red berries attract goldfinches and robins. It's a selection of our native species, Lonicera sempervirens, and plants are both carefree and non-invasive. They bloom on the previous year's growth as well as new growth. Regular pruning is not required—any pruning to shape the vine can be done once flowering is over for the season. Do provide a trellis, fence, or post with wire grid for support. Lonicera is a large group of (mostly) deciduous shrubs and vines from Europe, Asia, and North America. They are known for their brightly colored, sometimes fragrant flowers. The vines will grow readily in humus-rich, well-drained soil and are rarely troubled by insects, diseases, or deer. Three plants, 1 to each of 3 addresses. Your gifts will be delivered with complete care instructions and your greetings enclosed. In response to concerns from some of our customers, we have spent a great deal of time fine-tuning our shipping methods. Instead of shipping out a portion of our plants in late fall to get ahead of the cold weather, we are holding them back and allowing the buds to grow a little larger while keeping a close eye on the weather conditions. Our goal is for all of our customers to enjoy the white star-shaped blossoms and wonderful fragrance in their homes or offices. For long bloom, Jasmine prefer cooler temperatures and bright indirect light. Make sure to water your Jasmine when only the top half inch of soil is dry. A gorgeous sight when covered in pure white, lightly fragrant flowers in late summer, Sweet Autumn Clematis becomes a silvery mass... of fluffy seed heads in the fall. We're particularly fond of the established plant that grows on an old stone wellhead at the nursery (shown in photo) that's over 10 years old. But this prolific, small-flowered species will look equally impressive covering an upscale arbor or embellishing a utilitarian fence or garden shed. Pruning group 3. This hardy climber is a rampant grower that can reach to 30′, but can easily be kept in check by cutting stems back to 12″ in spring. It blooms on the current year's growth, and unlike many Clematis, it will thrive and bloom well in partial shade. Plants are unlikely to bloom the first year, but expect them to begin blooming the second year. Please note: Sweet Autumn Clematis can grow quite vigorously to the point of being invasive in warmer areas of the country.
