Gro-Tec is UV resistant, weatherproof and features rip stop protection. For maximum transmission of radiant energy, the ideal architectural form for a greenhouse is the hemispherical dome; the angle of incidence and the orientation are perfect at all hours of the day and at all seasons of the year. During midwinter when the sun is relatively low above the horizon, the slanted sidewalls of this FlowerHouse transmit more radiant energy than vertical sidewalls.
