First Alert

First Alert, founded in 1964, was first established by BRK Brands, Inc. and has now become a subsidiary of Jarden Corporation. First Alert offers home security products including detectors, safes, surveillance systems, security cameras, cash boxes, and other safety products such as escape ladders and fire extinguishers. 

First Alert safes are fire-, theft-, and water-resistant and come with combination, digital, or fingerprint recognition locks. The safes, armed with steel-locking bolts, each come with a five-year limited warranty. Safes have one-hour fire protection up to 1,700°F and remain waterproof even when completely surrounded by water. The 2087 Waterproof Fire Resistant Combination Safe features a combination lock with an emergency override key and digital media protection. This safe has four locking door bolts with an adjustable pry-resistant storage shelf. 

First Alert smoke detectors mount on ceilings in bedrooms, hallways, basements or any other room in the house. The First Alert Carbon Monoxide and Smoke Alarm detects multiple harmful gases. This smoke alarm features a smart sensor that reduces false alarms, an electrochemical carbon monoxide sensor, and a photoelectric smoke sensor.
