Ameico

Ameico was established in 1995 in New Milford, Connecticut, and is best known for its modern lighting fixtures. Ameico also offers furniture such as seating, tables, shelving, and outdoor furnishings; accessories including fireplace, tabletop, recreational, and home and office products; and gifts such as art, wall clocks, and jewelry.

Ameico lighting comes in five main categories: suspension lamps, wall and ceiling fixtures, floor lamps, table lamps, and outdoor lighting. Outdoor lighting pieces include the Lux-Us lighted cube, stackable and versatile -- they can be used as stools, planters, or lighted display cases. The cubes also work for interior lighting. Table lamps take many forms, such as the Trapeze table lamp that uses LED lighting and comes in two sizes and four colors.

More than 30 designers contribute to Ameico's selection of designer lighting, furniture, and accessories. The Santa & Cole collection, for example, features many contributing designers. In 2011, the Santa & Cole collection was a finalist at Interior Design’s Best of the Year, and in 2012, the collection won best lighting collection at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair.
