Warm and inviting, the European Farmhouse Winemakers Pub 5 Piece Dining Set provides a cozy spot for morning coffee, cocktail part...ies, casual family meals, and so much more. This set includes a pub table and four matching barstools. Carved to emulate a continuous disk of solid Dutch white cedar, the spacious round tabletop rests on stave-like supports reminiscent of iron wine-barrel bands. Curved metal feet and exposed rivets complete the warm, rustic look. Drawing design cues from classic schoolhouse chairs of the 1950s, each barstool features curled ironwork, exposed rivets, and a ringed footrest. The ample 16-inch-diameter seat is hand-polished to bring out the warm glow of the Dutch white cedar and white cedar and ash burl veneers. Available in blond or terrain finish, this stylish dining set has a hand-rubbed, distressed finish for a beautifully weathered look. Terrain is a rich, hand-waxed coffee tone with artisanal distressing, while blond offers a natural, close-to-the-wood matte finish with cream-colored accent glaze. DimensionsTable: 42 diam. x 42H inchesChair: 20.5W x 19D x 42H inches The European Farmhouse Collection Each piece of this unique European Farmhouse collection looks and feels like a prized antique store find, those once-in-a-lifetime discoveries that give your home its unique character. Eclectic accents and colors blend and complement each other like old friends, without being too "matchy." Hand-waxed colors like dark coffee, chalkboard black, and honey blond enrich the Dutch white cedar veneer. Run your fingers across the silky sheen to feel the authentic antiqued distressing, then tickle the Old-World dangle pulls as if this furniture has long been part of your family. Stanley Furniture Craftsmanship Stanley Furniture's main objective is to produce quality and stylish furniture by using the best wood materials, construction procedures, and elegant finishes on their products to help you fashion your home decor the way you imagined. All of their furniture is hand-crafted from quality woods, incorporating other superior materials such as aluminum, glass, plastic, leather, and marble. Every joint is carefully constructed (keeping wood's sensitivity to heat and humidity in mind) allowing for expansion and contraction. All joints are held together with glue and nail. Stanley's 30-step finishing process starts with an undertone stain that is applied to a hand-sanded piece. Next, the stain is sealed with a wash coat, then hand sanded again with filler applied to pack the wood pores and smooth out the surface. A sealer coat is then applied, the piece is hand sanded again, and hand padded to mellow the tone. From there, a luster glaze is rubbed on by hand, followed by antiquing or distressing also done by hand. Finally, after drying, each piece is hand waxed and rubbed prior to final inspection. Of all the wonders France has given us, none are as universal as the words popularized by Charles Messier, who in the late 1700s b...ecame the first astronomer to name galaxies, supernovas and nebulae. His work, like that of all scientific, cultural and artistic pioneers, lives on to this day. And, for those intimately familiar with his contribution, the shape of an orb, a comet or an astrological marvel will forever bear his imprint. It's a dreamy notion, for sure, and one in keeping with our alluringly overt Provenšal Gardens Bedside Table. Styled to take the place of a traditional night stand, this decorative accent table works equally well as a center hall stand, lamp table or chair side reader. The four-square elevated foot base gives rise to a series of stacked and carved circular forms, including disks, balls, rings and the central, stylized orb. The round-on-round motif is continued in the seamless tabletop, which is hand finished to bring out the unique Dutch white cedar glow. We humans are so predictable. For as far back as anyone can remember, we've relied on simple shapes to express our most profound v...alues. Take the circle. A symbol of life, of union, of infinite connection and unending wonder - and still, just a circle. Maybe that's what makes our Tambour Table so comforting. Timeless in nature, yet updated for today, our contemporary drum table starts with a carefully inset ash burl veneer top. Hand-rubbed to enhance the wood's inherent curly grain, the piece is then painstakingly lacquered with up to seven coats of premium luster-based finish. Curved all around, the single door is arched to follow the line of the slightly scrolled circular top. Ogee-edge molding details finish the upper lip, while a pair of carved vertical supports help frame the majestic, ring-and-rosette studded door. Suitable for storing wine, liquor or spare linens and pillows, this multi-function end table is a seamless and symbolic addition to any traditional room design. The European Farmhouse Collection Each piece of this unique European Farmhouse collection looks and feels like a prized antique st...ore find, those once-in-a-lifetime discoveries that give your home its unique character. A sealer coat is then applied, the piece is then hand sanded again, and hand padded to mellow the tone. From there, a luster glaze is rubbed on by hand, followed by antiquing or distressing also done by hand. Finally, after drying, each piece is hand waxed and rubbed prior to final inspection. About Stanley Furniture Since 1924, the goal of the Stanley Furniture Company has been to manufacture high quality furniture at a price the average American family could afford. To accomplish this goal, founder Thomas Bahnson Stanley surrounded himself with the finest furniture craftsmen and instilled in them a sense of pride in building superb quality into every piece of Stanley Furniture. We like to think of the European Farmhouse Vintner's End Table the way we think of wine tasting. It's not the bottles, glasses, or... even the cheese that make a tasting worthwhile, but the wine itself, the poetry of a good, solid vintage. And this end table has a similar philosophy - sometimes it's the things, objects, collections themselves that make it perfect, and that's why this end table is designed to draw instant attention to whatever you set on top of it. So the construction is simple, almost deceptively so. Crafted of Dutch white cedar with a hand-cut burl ash veneer top, this end table creates its subtlety through its understated finishes. Choose terrain, a hand-waxed coffee shade brought to life with artisanal hand distressing; or blond, a natural, close-to-the-wood matte finish with a barely there, cream-colored accent glaze. With both finishes, you'll get hand-rubbed, burnished, and distressed effects that all combine to give the wood a lived-in feel. The simplicity continues with classic details like curved feet, a Doric column pedestal, and an apron that drops down to reveal a small storage compartment. Pair it with other pieces in Stanley's European Farmhouse collection. It's not often you see something as stylishly straightforward as the European Farmhouse Chalice End Table. Just big enough to hold... a picture frame, magazine, or favorite drink, this slight sliver of an end table is carefully crafted with a twisted, double-spun metal pedestal. The individual prongs unite the top and base in a simple symmetry, while the burnished silver finish might remind you of a family heirloom, tucked away in an attic in the old country. In fact, you can pair this end table with any piece in Stanley's European Farmhouse collection. Think of the cute cafe in Amelie and you'll have a good grasp of the irresistible charm of the European Farmhouse Salon End Table.... The shape is tough to describe (a square with curves, maybe?) but easy to love, and it's made all the more lovable by the rich, lively finish options. You can choose from terrain, a hand-waxed coffee color enlivened by hand distressing; or blond, a natural, close-to-the-wood matte shade with a subtle cream glaze. Both finishes offer hand-rubbed, burnished, and distressed effects that create a lived-in, shabby but chic style. The wood itself is Dutch white cedar with white cedar and ash veneers. Sure, it has a one-of-a-kind shape, but there's so much more to this cute coquette of an end table. The drawer, in the same curvy shape, has sturdy dovetail construction and an antique brass ring pull. At the base of the peg-set legs, you'll find a lower shelf for storage or display and pinch-topped bun feet. Pair this end table with the European Farmhouse Salon Coffee Table for the complete set. Art meets industry and both meet the side of your sofa with the European Farmhouse Art Industriel End Table. We're captivated by t...his modernist end table's blend of Dutch white cedar for the body and iron for the legs. Both materials are hand-rubbed and distressed, and the wood includes white cedar and ash burl veneers with multiple layers of custom-tinted, fine-grade lacquer. You'll get two finish options with the wood: terrain for a dark, coffee-colored shade that accentuates the hand distressing; or blond, a natural, close-to-the-wood matte finish with a subtle cream accent glaze. With all this hand-rubbing and hand-distressing, this end table looks like a hand-me-down, but in the best possible way. It looks instantly aged, mature, wise beyond its years, and it's offset by the clean, modern angles of the two shelves and one drawer with a hand-forged pull. Today, that pride is shared by more than 1,750 dedicated associates who have made Stanley Furniture one of the largest, most respected furniture manufacturers in the nation. read more

It takes a special kind of person to choose to become an "apprentice." A formal learner. A professional trainee. It's not the kind... of job you sign up for when your ultimate goal is to make your way to the top of some corporate structure. Instead, apprenticeship appeals to those with true passion, genuine grit and deep appreciation for their craft. Learning, it seems, is goal enough. In that vein, we present our Artisan's Apprentice Barstool. Drawing its cues from the classic schoolhouse chairs of the 1950s, ours takes on a worldly flair with curled iron work, exposed rivets and an integrated belly band footrest. The ample 16" diameter seat is hand-polished to bring out the Dutch white cedar's innate glow. And the open design on the lower leg both grounds and lightens the otherwise architectural look. Perfect for morning coffee, casual entertaining, or plying an artisanal trade of your own. Product Features Wood seat 16" diameter Seat: 30H Style: Traditional Finish: Terrain read more

Awarded in recognition of loyal, meritorious and uninterrupted service, the honorable Belgian Cross is one of the highest military... honors in Europe. Seems a fitting enough mantle for our Belgian Cross Huntboard, which was styled to mimic the pristinely crossed swords forged into the medal itself. Crafted in iron and softened with slats of hand-polished cedar, the Belgian Cross Huntboard is a throwback to centuries-old European craftsmanship. The rugged, yet smooth support braces are studded with stacked disk trim details reminiscent of pieces in the Belgian Royal Military Academy. Double keyhole drawers are deep enough for stashing silver serving platters without feeling stuffy or overscaled. And the asymmetric open shelves make a perfect spot for urns and other large collectibles, or perhaps a family crest. Product Features Two drawers Style: Traditional Finish: Blond read more
