Its finished with a powder coating to provide an extra layer of rust-resistant protection and it also creates a stronger, richer color. The expert craftsmanship of this console table is displayed in its hand-laid mosaic tiles on the top shelf. Made from natural sources such as marble, slate, and travertine, each tile varies slightly in color, resulting in a truly unique table. The top is then grouted with industrial adhesives for durability so the natural beauty of this table is maintained. A bottom shelf gives you additional storage space for dishes or refills, so youre not constantly running in and out of your house. Perfect for entertaining, you can use this table as a buffet during parties, or as a place to display plants and other items during the day. What this means is if the mosaic top gets wet, the grout wont dry out and crack like traditional standard grout would. The top is then finished and sealed with an industrial-grade sealant called Fluorocarbon for superior protection. Natural wear and tear of elements may lead to blistering of the silicone top seal and natural aging of the tile materials. The hand-forged wrought-iron table frame is dipped in a zinc-phosphate bath and then electrostatically coated to help create a weather-resistant coating to delay the onset of rust. Following a quality check for strength and durability, iron welds are ground for aesthetic appeal.
