Classic French Stew Dinner

Beef Bourguignon is a classic French dish that is the star of this dinner. Add Spinach Salad with Olives and Onions, Roasted Cauliflower, and Vanilla Ice Cream with Butter Cookies and your family will think they're in a corner bistro in Paris. If you make the stew using the slow-cooker directions, it'll be ready for dinner when you are.
Thinly slice red onion; toss with spinach and your favorite dressing. Add olives and toss again.
Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Cut a cauliflower into small pieces, toss with olive oil, salt, and pepper; place on a cookie sheet. Toast until tender and starting to brown, about 35 minutes.
A plain and simple dessert -- choose your favorite cookie to serve with ice cream.
