Southern-Style Chicken Wing Dinner
- Kentucky Chicken Wings (see recipe below)
- Bourbon Whiskey Baked Beans
- Green Salad with Cheddar and Baked Pecans
- Key Lime Pudding
Kentucky Chicken Wings are a sweet and tasty appetizer that become a main dish when served with baked beans, pecan salad, and an easy pudding that will remind you of Key Lime Pie. Baked beans from a can, whiskey and brown sugar, and pecans from the pantry will add a Southern touch to any meal. The wing recipe serves 16 as an appetizer, but will serve four as an entree.
Use your favorite canned baked beans, and stir in some of the whiskey that's left in the bottle from making the wings. Add a bit of brown sugar if you like them sweet.
Toss salad greens with any creamy dressing, then top with toasted pecans and shredded cheddar cheese.
Prepare lime pudding according to package directions. Sprinkle with graham cracker crumbs and add a dollop of whipped cream and a sprig of mint.
