Deviled Steak Slow-Cooker Dinner

Italian side dishes make this saucy steak main dish a real international hit. Italian staples are easy to keep on hand: Balsamic vinegar, roasted peppers, and salad dressings all come in bottles.
- Deviled Steak Strips (see recipe below)
- Italian Greens with Onion Dressing
- Balsamic Sauteed Spinach
- Roasted Pepper Rice
In a blender, puree 1 Tbs. diced red onion for every 1/4 cup Italian dressing. Toss with Italian salad greens.
Saute spinach in olive oil just until wilted. Stir in a splash of balsamic vinegar and a sprinkle of brown sugar. Season to taste.
Chop drained roasted red peppers from a jar, and heat in the microwave. Stir into hot cooked white or brown rice.
