Citrus Sipper: Stir together 1 teaspoon powdered sugar and a dash bitters in a tall glass. Add ice cubes. Stir in 8 ounces sparkling orange-flavor mineral water.
Lime and Tonic: Place ice cubes in a tall glass. Add 2 teaspoons lime juice. Pour 8 ounces chilled tonic water (quinine water) down the side of the glass; stir gently with an up-and-down motion to mix.
Apple-Lemon Sipper: Combine equal parts lemonade and apple juice in a saucepan. Heat through. Serve in heatproof cups. Garnish each cup with a wedge or slice of lemon.
Sunrise Sipper: Place crushed ice in a tall glass. Stir together 1/4 cup club soda, 1/4 cup orange juice and 1 teaspoon lime juice. Pour over ice in glass. Pour in 2 teaspoons grenadine syrup. Stir before serving.
Another Collins: Stir together 2 tablespoons lemon juice, 2 teaspoons sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon rum flavoring in a tall glass. Add ice cubes. Pour 3/4 cup chilled club soda down the side of the glass. Garnish with maraschino cherry and an orange slice.
Mock Amaretto Sour: Combine ice cubes, 1/2 cup ginger ale, 2 tablespoons lemon or lime juice, and 1/2 teaspoon almond extract in a cocktail shaker. Cover and shake well. Strain into a chilled glass. Pour 1/4 cup chilled grapefruit carbonated beverage down the side of the glass; stir. Add additional ice cubes.
Fast punch: Combine equal parts lemonade and apple juice. Serve warm with a cinnamon stick or chilled over ice with a mint sprig and lemon slice.
Coffee stir-in: Stir 1 tablespoon brandy or orange liqueur into a large cup of hot coffee. Top with pressurized whipped dessert topping.
