Strawberry Daiquiris

Strawberry Daiquiris
Ingredients
  • 1 10  ounce package  frozen strawberries in syrup or red raspberries in syrup
  • 2/3  cup  rum
  • 1/3  cup  powdered sugar (optional)
  • 1/2 6  ounce can  frozen limeade concentrate (1/3 cup)
  • 2 1/2 - 3  cups  ice cubes
  •  Fresh strawberries
Directions

1. In a blender, combine frozen strawberries in syrup, rum, powdered sugar (if desired), and limeade concentrate. Cover and blend until smooth.

2. With blender running, add ice cubes, one at a time, through opening in lid until mixture becomes slushy. Garnish each serving with a fresh strawberry.

  • Prepare as directed, except substitute half of a 12-ounce can (3/4 cup) frozen lemonade concentrate for the berries,omit the powdered sugar, and use the entire 6-ounce can of frozen limeade concentrate. Makes 6 (4-ounce) servings.
