Makes: 1 servings
Serving size: 2/3cup
Prep 10 mins
Cucumber Gin and Tonic
Ingredients
  • 12  1/2-inch cubes Persian cucumber
  • 1  tablespoon  lemon juice (1/2 oz.)
  • 3  tablespoons  gin* (1 1/2 oz.)
  • 1  tablespoon  St. Germain liqueur or other elderflower liqueur (1/2 oz.)
  • 1/3  cup  tonic water, chilled
  •  Cucumber spear
Directions

1. In a cocktail shaker combine cucumber and lemon juice; muddle until cucumber is broken up. Add gin, St. Germain, and ice. Shake until chilled, about 20 seconds. To serve, strain into a tall ice-filled glass. Top with tonic water. Garnish with a cucumber spear.

From the Test Kitchen*
  • We like Hendrick's Gin for this cocktail; infused with cucumber, it nicely enhances the flavor here.
