Romaine Hearts with Blue Cheese

Serving size: 1 wedge romaine, 2 tablespoons red onion, 1 tablespoon walnuts, 1 tablespoon blue cheese, and 2 tablespoons dressing

Romaine Hearts with Blue Cheese
Ingredients
  • 1/2  of a (or 1 small) heart romaine lettuce (3 ounces)
  • 1/4  cup  very thinly sliced red onion
  • 2  tablespoons  coarsely chopped walnuts, toasted
  • 2  tablespoons  crumbled blue cheese
  • 1/4  cup  light blue cheese salad dressing
  •  Ground black pepper (optional)
Directions

1. Halve heart of romaine lengthwise. Trim core at ends. Place 1 half on each salad plate. Top with red onion, walnuts, and blue cheese. Drizzle with blue cheese salad dressing. If desired, sprinkled with black pepper.
