Crumb-Topped Vegetables

Makes: 4 to 6 servings

Crumb-Topped Vegetables
Ingredients
  • 1 12 ounce package frozen cut green beans in microwaveable steaming bag
  • 1 cup  cheese-flavored crackers, crushed
  • 1/2 teaspoon  dried thyme, crushed
  • 2 tablespoons  butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup  finely shredded Parmesan cheese
Directions

1. Steam beans in microwave according to package directions.

2. Meanwhile, place the crackers and thyme in a small resealable plastic bag. Release the air from the bag and seal bag. With your hands, crush the crackers until they resemble fine crumbs. Add melted butter to the bag. Seal bag and toss to combine.

3. Place beans in a serving dish. Top with cracker mixture. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over top. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
