Turkey and Chutney Spread

Yield: Makes 1 cup
Prep 20 mins Chill 2 hrs
Turkey and Chutney Spread
  • 3/4  cup  finely chopped cooked turkey or chicken (about 4 ounces)
  • 1/2  small apple, finely chopped
  • 3  tablespoons  mayonnaise or salad dressing
  • 2  tablespoons  chutney (snip any large fruit pieces)
  • 1  small green onion, sliced (1 tablespoon)
  • 1/4  teaspoon  grated fresh gingerroot or dash ground ginger
  • 2  tablespoons  chopped walnuts or pecans

1. Combine turkey or chicken, apple, mayonnaise or salad dressing, chutney, green onion, and gingerroot or ground ginger in a medium mixing bowl. Cover and chill for 2 hours. Just before serving, stir in nuts. Transfer to a serving bowl. Makes 1 cup.
