Use 3 eggs, 1 cup milk, 1 cup fine dry bread crumbs, and 1-1/2 teaspoons salt for 2 pounds ground meat for meat loaf. Other ingredients to add might be finely chopped onion (1/2 cup) and 1 teaspoon desired dried herb, such as basil, thyme, or oregano.
