Selecting:

Look for small turnips with unblemished skins that are heavy for their size. Select turnip greens that are tender, fresh looking, and without bruises.

Storing:

Refrigerate turnips in a plastic bag for up to a week. Wash fresh greens in cold water; pat dry. Place them in a plastic bag lined with a paper towel, and store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
