Lighting a Gas Grill

Before starting your gas grill, open the lid and turn all the burner control knobs to off. Turn the gas on at the source. From this point you should refer to your owner's manual for specific lighting instructions. After lighting your grill, close the lid and preheat the grill on high for 10 to 15 minutes. Again, you will want to refer to your owner's manual for the recommended preheating time.
