CORRECTION: In the story "Summer Party Nibbles" in our August issue (page 210), an error was made in the recipe for Marinated Olives. The recipe suggested marinating the olives at room temperature, and storing them at room temperature up to 3 days. According to the Food and Drug Administration, storing this recipe at room temperature creates the potential to develop toxins, although it's unlikely. To prepare Marinated Olives correctly, combine all ingredients and marinate in refrigerator 24 hours. To serve, bring to room temperature, about 30 minutes. Serve immediately. Store any leftovers, covered, in the refrigerator at 40°F. Do not store this recipe at room temperature.
