Ramen noodles are really a time-saver -- they cook much more quickly than regular pasta, and you can add any vegetable to the mix for an easy side dish.

Red Snapper with Orange-Ginger Sauce
 
Spinach Ramen

Cook ramen according to package directions. When cooked, stir in thinly sliced spinach. The spinach will cook immediately -- no need to keep it simmering.

Glazed Carrots

Cook equal parts butter and brown sugar in a saucepan. Add cooked carrots, and cook 2 to 3 minutes over medium heat. Season to taste.

Ginger-Orange Sundaes

Top scoops of chocolate ice cream with mandarin oranges and finely minced crystallized ginger. Drizzle with chocolate sauce if desired.
