What's for Dinner?

We have dozens of easy-does-it recipes that were tasted by a panel of honest-to-gosh kids to ensure that your kids will like the recipes, too. But best of all, we designed the recipes so parents can make them fast. Most recipes go together in less than 30 minutes each.

Stacked Chicken Salad Sandwich Stop at the deli for chicken or tuna salad; spread on flour tortillas with cream cheese and lettuce to make an old favorite in a new shape.

Accordian Sandwiches Slice the bread only part way through to bottom to make an accordian. Fill with chicken, ham and cheese slices.

Hamburger in Disguise What's the disguise? It's a hamburger shaped like a hot dog and served in a hot dog bun. Add cheese if you like.

It's Italian! Sausage Sandwich Italian sausage in spaghetti sauce makes a special sloppy joe.

Reuben Submarine Top cheese and your choice of deli meat with sauerkraut in the open-face submarine.

Rolled-Up Pickle Steak Roll cream-cheese-topped beef around a pickle before cooking.

Pan-Style Taco Corn muffin mix forms the crust of a beef taco built in a baking dish.

Mac and Cheese Special This easy fix-up for macaroni and cheese dinner mix will delight everyone.

Broiled Peanut Butter Sandwich We took every kid's favorite -- a peanut butter sandwich -- added a special topper, and broiled it for a tasty treat. (Even parents will love it!)

The Salad Bar Set out a variety of options for dinner and let your youngsters create their own salads. Choose other toppings, such as croutons, Parmesan cheese, raisins, or hard-cooked eggs.
