To plan ahead, put chicken, grits, collard greens, and bacon on your shopping list.
There are plenty of frozen chicken options at the grocers. Try one that you bake to "fry." If you're really in a hurry, pick up a batch of fried chicken at the deli.
Follow the directions on the back of the box for cheese grits.
In a large skillet, cook diced bacon until crisp; remove from pan. Cook a package of frozen collard or kale greens according to package directions. Stir cooked bacon into cooked greens.
