Guy Fieri’s Cooking With Kids

Best known for hosting Food Network's Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives, and NBC's Minute To Win It, Guy Fieri is sweeping his way across the nation. From establishing restaurants and embarking on a cross country cooking tour, to becoming a best-selling author and creating his own line of BBQ sauces and salsas, Fieri has become a culinary rockstar. In the midst of his life as an entertainer and culinary guru, Fieri mentors kids through his organization Cooking With Kids which encourages young people to learn how to cook for themselves, their friends, and their families with the by-product being increased self esteem and a healthier lifestyle.

In 2011, Guy Fieri helped California state draft legislature to announce Sundays in the state are "Cook With Your Kids Day." Similar legislation was passed in Kansas and Iowa. Today, his non-profit organization Cooking With Kids brings awareness to the value of culinary skill by encouraging fun cooking experiences and instilling nutritious eating habits. Fieri's cross-country tours help kids learn how to cook and have fun in the kitchen. Whether it's Veggie-Packed Pasta, Kickin' Quesadillas, or Fruit-Infused Smoothies, Fieri's recipes provide kid-friendly tips and promote families cooking together.

"Cooking with kids is not just about ingredients, recipes, and cooking…it's about harnessing imagination, empowerment, and creativity," said Fieri.
