Steak and Roasted Garlic Dinner

Roasted Garlic Steak, Grilled Potato Planks with Cracked Black Pepper, Spinach Salad with Onion and Mushrooms, and Mocha Latte Sundaes make a very special summer grilling meal -- weeknight or weekend. You can double or triple the amount of garlic you make for this recipe, and then freeze it for flavoring mashed potatoes or just about anything else.
Cut thick slices from large potatoes, and microwave for 3-4 minutes to cook. Brush with oil, season with salt and cracked pepper, and grill alongside steak.
Add sliced mushrooms and red onion to a bag of prewashed spinach; toss with a light coating of blue cheese dressing. Remember that spinach wilts very easily, so don't add too much dressing.
