Beef Pot Roast Dinner

By using the crockery-cooker variation, Beef Pot Roast is a good "cook it while you're at work" dinner. Then spend just a few minutes on Blue Cheese and Walnut Toasts, Steamed Zucchini with Gruyere, and Strawberry Shortcakes when you get home. Most people have a crockery cooker -- if you havent used yours lately, this recipe is a great place to start again.
Slice baguette and toast. Blend equal parts softened butter and blue cheese. Sprinkle with chopped toasted walnuts.
Steam sliced or chunked zucchini and top with shredded Gruyere.
Using all-purpose baking mix, prepare shortcake according to directions. Split shortcakes and fill with sugared, sliced berries and whipped cream.
