- Onion Rings
- Banana Stacks
Lamb Chops with Sweet Potato Chutney have an exotic flavor from the ginger in the chutney, but they are well suited to these hearty sides. Sauteed Red Cabbage and Onion Rings adds sweetness and crunch to the meal. Banana Stacks are a fun dessert for the kids to dig into. Keep thin chocolate wafer cookies on hand to create any number of desserts. Whatever fruit you have on hand will probably be delicious with chocolate.
Saute sliced red cabbage in butter and olive oil. Add chicken broth, cover, and cook for about 10 minutes. Add a splash of red wine vinegar and season to taste.
Prepare frozen onion rings according to package directions.
Layer sliced bananas and vanilla pudding between chocolate wafer cookies. Use three or four wafers to create stacks.
