This timeline shows you how far in advance food preparation for the menu can take place. Following these tips allows maximum time with your guests and minimum fuss.
Up to 1 week before dinner
- Prepare lamb marinade; cover and refrigerate.
- Prepare Greek vinaigrette for salad; cover and refrigerate.
Up to 1 day before dinner
- Marinate lamb; cover and refrigerate.
- Prepare feta cheese mixture for lamb in step 2. Cover and refrigerate.
- Thaw Spinach Phyllo Triangles in refrigerator.
- Cut tomatoes, cucumbers, and onions for salad. Place each in a zip-top bag.
- Wash, dry, and tear lettuce for Greek salad; cover and refrigerate.
Up to 6 hours before dinner
- Cut tomatoes for Lamb Platter and brush with oil.
- Prepare Zucchini and Sweet Peppers with Feta through step 1.
- Prepare Greek Quinoa and Avocados through step 2.
- Prepare Shortcut Baklava.
40 minutes before dinner
- Heat grill.

- Slice avocados and place on spinach leaves for Greek Quinoa and Avocados. Place Quinoa on avocados.
20 minutes before dinner
- Grill lamb and tomatoes.
- Finish cooking zucchini dish, adding peppers and feta.
