All-American Hamburger Pie Dinner

• Vegetable Soup with Pesto
• Broccoli with Toasted Pine Nuts
• Chocolate Sandwich Cookie Sundaes

Hamburger Pie gets a bit of an Italian makeover with this menu of Vegetable Soup with Pesto, Broccoli with Toasted Pine Nuts, and Chocolate Sandwich Cookie Sundaes. The soup and broccoli dishes add pizzazz, and the sundae really dresses it up at the end.

Stir a dollop of prepared pesto (basil or sun-dried tomato) into hot vegetable soup.

Sprinkle toasted pine nuts on buttered broccoli.

Crumble chocolate sandwich cookies and layer with ice cream in a bowl. Add chocolate sauce or melted raspberry preserves and whipped cream. Top with a cherry for a cheery ending.
