1. Add the first 11 ingredients to a 1-1/2- or 2-pound bread machine according to manufacturer's directions. Select the dough cycle. When cycle is complete, remove dough. Punch down. Cover and let rest for 10 minutes.
2. Divide the dough in half. On a lightly floured surface, roll each portion into a 12-inch circle. Transfer each circle to a greased large baking sheet or 12-inch pizza pan. Brush the circles with the 2 tablespoons olive oil. Using a fork, prick the entire surface of each circle several times. Sprinkle with the 2 teaspoons fresh or 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme. Do not let rise.
3. Bake in a 400 degree F oven for 11 to 13 minutes or until golden brown. Transfer to wire racks. Serve warm or cool.
