Home-Style Green Bean Bake
Ingredients

10 3/4 ounce can condensed cream of mushroom soup or cream of celery soup

cup shredded cheddar cheese or American cheese (2 ounces)

2 ounce jar sliced pimiento, drained (optional)

14 1/2 ounce can French-cut green beans or cut green beans, drained, or 6 cups frozen French-cut green beans or cut green beans, thawed and drained

2 - 3 ounce can French-fried onions
Directions
1. In a large bowl combine soup, cheese, and, if desired, pimiento. Stir in green beans. Transfer to a 1-1/2-quart casserole.
2. Bake in a 350 degree F oven for 40 minutes. Remove from oven and stir; sprinkle with French-fried onions. Bake about 5 minutes more or until heated through.
3. Makes 6 servings.

- Variation Calico Bean Bake:Prepare as above, except substitute one 14-1/2 ounce can cut wax beans for one of the cans of green beans.
