Green Beans with Limes
Ingredients

    pound fresh green beans, cut into 2-inch pieces (4 cups)
  • 1
    tablespoon cooking oil or olive oil
  • 1
    lime
Directions

1. In a large skillet cook green beans in hot oil over medium heat for 18 to 20 minutes until crisp-tender and lightlybrowned, using a spatula to gently lift beans occasionally to prevent them from sticking. Meanwhile, shred 1 teaspoon of lime peel. Cut lime in half. Add lime peel to beans. Cook and stir for 1 minute more.

2. Lightly season beans with salt, drizzle with lime juice, and serve immediately. Makes 4 (1/2-cup) servings.
