Gingery Sugar Snap Peas



  1. Remove strings and tips from fresh peas. Cook fresh peas in a medium saucepan, covered, in a small amount of boiling salted water for 2 to 4 minutes or until crisp-tender. (Or, cook frozen peas according to package directions.) Drain well; set peas aside.
  2. In the same saucepan melt butter; stir in preserves, soy sauce, ginger, and pepper. Return peas to saucepan, stirring to coat. Makes 6 servings.
