- Cut prosciutto or ham into thin strips. In a medium saucepan cook prosciutto or ham strips and onion in hot oil until onion is tender.
- Stir in the peas, water, bouillon granules, oregano, and pepper. Cover and simmer for 4 to 5 minutes or until peas are just tender. Stir in nuts. Makes 4 servings.
