I love this dish! Takes me back to my childhood! Would definitely make it again. I used a combination of ground turkey and ground sirloin and I also added more chicken broth and worcestershire sauce since I don't like too much of a tomatoey sauce. Served with the white bean mash, which was excellent.

3/23/2011 06:51:04 PM Report AbuseWe love this dish! I made the whole thing and everyone loved it. I did add a little more garlic to both the recipes and used white Zinfandel instead of red wine. Serve tomatoes slices with it. I highly recommend it.
5/25/2010 08:39:40 PM Report AbuseWe liked this dish. I made it without the white bean mash because we are not big fans of beans. But the turkey steaks are super yummy and very easy to make. The only thing I changed was to use beef broth instead of chicken broth, just because I thought beef broth went better with mushrooms, red wine, and tomato paste. Highly recommended.
