Turkey and Chutney Spread
Ingredients

cup finely chopped cooked turkey or chicken (about 4 ounces)
1/2
small apple, finely chopped

tablespoons mayonnaise or salad dressing
2
tablespoons chutney (snip any large fruit pieces)
1
small green onion, sliced (1 tablespoon)
1/4
teaspoon grated fresh gingerroot or dash ground ginger
2
tablespoons chopped walnuts or pecans
Directions
  1. Combine turkey or chicken, apple, mayonnaise or salad dressing, chutney, green onion, and gingerroot or ground ginger in a medium mixing bowl. Cover and chill for 2 hours. Just before serving, stir in nuts. Transfer to a serving bowl. Makes 1 cup.
