Turkey and Chutney Spread

cup finely chopped cooked turkey or chicken (about 4 ounces)

small apple, finely chopped

tablespoons mayonnaise or salad dressing

tablespoons chutney (snip any large fruit pieces)

small green onion, sliced (1 tablespoon)

teaspoon grated fresh gingerroot or dash ground ginger

tablespoons chopped walnuts or pecans
Directions
Combine turkey or chicken, apple, mayonnaise or salad dressing, chutney, green onion, and gingerroot or ground ginger in a medium mixing bowl. Cover and chill for 2 hours. Just before serving, stir in nuts. Transfer to a serving bowl. Makes 1 cup.
