Turkey and Chutney Spread
cup finely chopped cooked turkey or chicken (about 4 ounces)
small apple, finely chopped
tablespoons mayonnaise or salad dressing
tablespoons chutney (snip any large fruit pieces)
small green onion, sliced (1 tablespoon)
tablespoons chopped walnuts or pecans
- Combine turkey or chicken, apple, mayonnaise or salad dressing, chutney, green onion, and gingerroot or ground ginger in a medium mixing bowl. Cover and chill for 2 hours. Just before serving, stir in nuts. Transfer to a serving bowl. Makes 1 cup.
