
1. In a large saucepan, cook ground turkey until done; drain. Stir in onions, the 1/4 cup water, and the garlic. Cook about 5 minutes more or until tender, stirring occasionally. Stir in the tomato sauce, undrained tomatoes, the 1 cup water, the chili powder, cumin, and sugar. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
2. Stir in the beans and corn. Return to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes more, stirring occasionally. To serve, ladle into bowls and sprinkle with cheese. Makes 6 main-dish servings.
