Turkey and Brie Strata
Ingredients

1/2 inch thick slices cinnamon-raisin bread

ounces Brie cheese, rind removed and cut into thin slices, or 6 ounces white cheddar cheese, cut into thin slices

ounces thinly sliced peppered turkey breast or cooked ham

cup finely chopped onion (1 small)

cups milk

tablespoon Dijon-style mustard

teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Directions
  1. Grease a 3-quart rectangular baking dish; set aside. Top six of the bread slices with cheese and turkey; top with the remaining bread slices. Spread outsides of sandwiches with butter. Quarter each sandwich diagonally to form four triangles. Arrange triangles, point sides up, in prepared baking dish. Sprinkle with onion; set aside.
  2. In a large bowl combine milk, eggs, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Carefully pour over triangles in dish. Cover; chill for at least 2 hours.
  3. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Bake, covered, for 25 minutes. Uncover; bake about 30 minutes more or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
