1. On a lightly floured surface roll or pat dough into a 6-inch square. Brush with melted margarine. In a small bowl combine the granulated sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over dough. If desired, sprinkle with nuts. Roll up dough into a spiral; seal seam. Cut into 6 slices.
2. Place slices, cut sides down, in a greased 8x4x2-inch loaf pan. Cover and let rise in a warm place until nearly double in size (about 30 minutes).
3. Bake, uncovered, in a 375 degree F oven about 20 minutes or until golden brown. Cool slightly; remove from pan.
4. For icing, in a small bowl combine the powdered sugar and vanilla. Stir in enough milk, 1 teaspoon at a time, to make an icing of drizzling consistency. Drizzle over rolls. Makes 6 rolls.
