Julienne Vegetable Soup

Ingredients

cups canned beef broth
1
small onion, cut in wedges

small carrots, cut into julienne strips (about 1/8- to 1/4-inch on each side)

turnip, cut into bite-size strips
1
potato, cut into bite-size strips
 
Seasoning (your choice)

Directions

  1. In a large saucepan, bring broth to boiling.
  2. Add remaining ingredients, reduce heat to medium, and simmer, uncovered, for 20 minutes. Makes 8 side-dish servings.
