Julienne Vegetable Soup
cups canned beef broth
small onion, cut in wedges
small carrots, cut into julienne strips (about 1/8- to 1/4-inch on each side)
turnip, cut into bite-size strips
potato, cut into bite-size strips
Seasoning (your choice)
- In a large saucepan, bring broth to boiling.
- Add remaining ingredients, reduce heat to medium, and simmer, uncovered, for 20 minutes. Makes 8 side-dish servings.
