Texas-Style Brush-On
Ingredients
  • 1
    large onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2
    cup honey
  • 1/2
    cup catsup
  • 1
    4 ounce can diced green chile peppers, drained
  • 1
    tablespoon chili powder
  • 1
    clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2
    teaspoon dry mustard
Directions

In a small saucepan stir together onion, honey, catsup, chile peppers, chili powder, garlic, and dry mustard. Cook and stir over low heat 10 minutes. Brush onto meat during last 10 minutes of grilling. Reheat remaining sauce until bubbly. Pass with meat. Makes about 1-3/4 cups.
