In a small mixing bowl stir together mayonnaise or salad dressing, pickle, onion, parsley, pimiento, and lemon juice. Cover and chill in refrigerator for at least 2 hours. Serve with fish or seafood. Makes 1-1/4 cups.
Low-Fat Tartar Sauce: Prepare as above, except substitute 2/3 cup light mayonnaise dressing or salad dressing and 1/3 cup plain yogurt for the mayonnaise or salad dressing. Omit lemon juice.
Make-Ahead Tip: Prepare as above. Cover and refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
