Tartar Sauce
Ingredients

cup mayonnaise or salad dressing

cup finely chopped sweet pickle, finely chopped dill pickle, or drained sweet or dill pickle relish

tablespoon finely chopped green onion

tablespoon snipped fresh parsley

tablespoon diced pimiento

teaspoon lemon juice
Directions
In a small mixing bowl stir together mayonnaise or salad dressing, pickle, onion, parsley, pimiento, and lemon juice. Cover and chill in refrigerator for at least 2 hours. Serve with fish or seafood. Makes 1-1/4 cups.

- Variation Low-Fat Tartar Sauce:Prepare as above, except substitute 2/3 cup light mayonnaise dressing or salad dressing and 1/3 cup plain yogurt for the mayonnaise or salad dressing. Omit lemon juice.
- Make Ahead Tip Prepare as above. Cover and refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.
