Quick Hot Fudge Sauce
cup butter
cup sugar
5 ounce can (2/3 cup) evaporated milk
  1. In a heavy small saucepan melt the chocolate and butter over low heat, stirring constantly. Add the sugar; gradually stir in the evaporated milk. Bring mixture to boiling; reduce heat. Boil gently over low heat for 8 minutes, stirring frequently. Remove pan from heat. Cool slightly. Serve warm over ice cream. Makes about 1-1/2 cups sauce (twenty-four, 1-tablespoon servings).

Prepare sauce; cover and chill up to 5 days. Reheat slowly in a heavy saucepan or transfer to a microwave-safe bowl and cook on high power for 15 to 30 seconds; stir.
